DOT'S HOME is a poignant single-player narrative game featuring a 2D perspective. It follows Dot, a young Black woman in Detroit residing in her grandmother's cherished house, who unlocks the ability to travel through time. Her temporal voyages reveal crucial intersections where race, housing, and difficult decisions shaped her family's story.

This immersive experience invites players to witness systemic racial injustices through the eyes of affected communities. By confronting scenarios involving housing discrimination, urban displacement, and neighborhood transformation, the game poses profound questions: "What truly determined your family's journey? How much agency did they actually possess?"

The game emerges from the Rise-Home Stories initiative - a three-year collaboration between multimedia creators and housing justice advocates reimagining community narratives across generations.
