PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer is a fresh action roguelike for Android. ChillyRoom, the mobile studio behind the game, previously developed Soul Knight, Meow Hunter, and the recent Inkvasion.

Parry Counter Meets Action Roguelike

Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, the game blends biopunk and dark sci-fi themes. Hive portals, corporate disasters, and grotesque insect mutations have reshaped the future of humanity.

Players choose from a roster of Platyguards to explore the shattered world. Over a dozen heroes are available, each with distinct playstyles.

Some champions excel at precise parrying, while others overwhelm foes with aggressive combos or use evasive hit-and-run tactics. The combat includes charged attacks, assassination-style movement, and other specialized techniques.

PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer bundles each run with hundreds of skills, items, and powerful synergies. Spellcaster builds and screen-clearing lightning storms are all within reach—if you can endure long enough.

Six expansive zones span ruined shelters and plague-infested lands, each introducing unique hazards and more than 50 enemy types. Elite creatures and bosses attack without hesitation.

PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer offers a biopunk gauntlet

Developers focused on sharp, responsive combat that emphasizes spotting enemy vulnerabilities, dodging, engaging, and breaking through defenses.

The launch includes several adjustments: Lark's shurikens can now parry attacks or deflect projectiles. The Prophecy – Build Ban feature allows blocking certain builds from a stage's beginning. Drones also operate freely, unimpeded by obstacles.
