Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 new subclasses: ---------------------------------------Bard - College of Glamour
As a College of Glamour Bard, you'll harness the power to both heal allies and manipulate enemies. With Mantle of Inspiration, you can grant your allies 5 temporary hit points, and if an enemy attacks during this effect, they become Charmed. Leverage Mantle of Majesty to command these charmed foes to flee, approach, freeze, drop to the ground, or disarm themselves.
Barbarian - Path of Giants
Choosing the Path of Giants enhances your Barbarian's strength and size through Giant’s Rage, enabling you to deal extra damage with Throw attacks and increase your carry capacity, making it easier to hurl both friends and foes.
Cleric - Death Domain
Embrace the dark arts as a Death Domain Cleric, wielding spells that deal necrotic damage and three new necromancy cantrips. Toll The Dead can cause 1-8 damage, scaling higher on already injured targets. Additionally, you can now explode nearby corpses to damage enemies.
Druid - Circle of Stars
Circle of Stars Druids draw power from the cosmos, utilizing one of three Starry Forms: the Archer for radiant damage with astral arrows, the Chalice for healing, and the Dragon for enhanced constitution and damage dealing, each offering unique strategic advantages.
Paladin - Oath of the Crown
Sworn to uphold the law, Oath of the Crown Paladins can guide allies with Righteous Clarity, taunt enemies, and use Divine Allegiance to absorb damage for your party while restoring their health.
Fighter - Arcane Archer
Arcane Archers blend magic with archery, featuring new shooting animations and abilities like banishing foes to the Feywild or inflicting Psychic damage that can blind enemies.
Monk - Drunken Master
Drunken Masters can consume alcohol to recover Ki and use Intoxicating Strike to buff their Armor Class and hit chance against drunk targets. Sobering Realisation sobers up enemies while dealing physical and Psychic damage.
Ranger - Swarmkeeper
Swarmkeeper Rangers can summon deadly swarms like Cloud of Jellyfish for lightning damage, Flurry of Moths for Psychic damage and potential blindness, and Legion of Bees for piercing damage and knockback, each also offering teleportation abilities.
Rogue - Swashbuckler
Swashbuckler Rogues can blind enemies with sand, disarm them with a flick of their weapon, and use Fancy Footwork to avoid opportunity attacks after melee engagements.
Sorcerer - Shadow Magic
Shadow Magic Sorcerers thrive in darkness with Superior Darkvision and Shadow Walk. They can summon the Hound of Ill Omen and use Strength of the Grave to stay in the fight, perfect for Honour Mode runs.
Warlock - Hexblade
Hexblade Warlocks can curse enemies and summon spirits from slain foes that deal necrotic damage and heal the Warlock, enhancing their combat prowess.
Wizard - Bladesinging
Bladesinging Wizards combine swordplay with spellcasting, featuring new animations and the Bladesong ability for speed, agility, and focus, along with enhanced Constitution saving throws.
