Bam Margera to Appear in THPS 3+4 Following Tony Hawk's Insistence
Bam Margera's inclusion in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has been confirmed, despite his initial absence from the announced roster. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media expert Roger Bagley during an exclusive members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
Bagley revealed that the game was essentially complete when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision, insisting on Margera's addition. Despite being initially told it wasn't possible, Hawk's persistence paid off, showcasing his dedication to including his friend in the game.IGN has reached out to Activision for their official statement on this matter.
Bam Margera, renowned for his skateboarding prowess and his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab visits. Additionally, Margera was dismissed from Jackass Forever and was subjected to a restraining order from Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.
The recent video of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game, which has now been confirmed.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has overcome significant hurdles, including the near cancellation following the merger of its original developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
