"Bethesda Voice Actor Found 'Barely Alive,' Family Seeks Support"
Iconic Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and many other titles, was found "barely alive" in his hotel room last week. His family is reaching out to fans for support during this challenging time.
According to a report by PC Gamer, Johnson's wife Kim, along with other family members, has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his medical expenses and support the family while he is unable to work. The campaign page states that Wes is currently fighting for his life in an intensive care unit.
Johnson had planned to host a benefit event for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta on January 22. After arriving and checking into his hotel, he did not appear at the event, raising concerns. His wife, Kim, attempted to contact him without success, leading to hotel security entering his room. There, they discovered him unconscious and barely alive. Emergency medical technicians struggled to find a pulse upon their arrival.

In addition to his acclaimed work in video games, Johnson has served as the public address announcer for the Washington Capitals for 25 years and has appeared in various film and television roles.
Johnson's contributions to video games are predominantly with Bethesda, where he most recently voiced Ron Hope in Starfield. His other notable roles include Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, three Daedric Princes (Boethiah, Malacath, and Molag Bal) in The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Fawkes and Mister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others.
