Sony Pictures has set an electrifying release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. This announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed acquiring worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring the much-anticipated adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's work to fans this fall. While US audiences can mark their calendars for late October, over 80 countries will experience the film's release starting September 24, 2025. Toho will handle its distribution in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was initially announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the 2022 MAPPA-produced anime series. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This unique bond grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc introduces the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko. Fans will be delighted to know that the entire voice cast from the anime series will return to reprise their roles in this cinematic continuation.
