Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Reintroduces Compendium

Crashlands 2 has just received a significant update to version 1.1, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update responds to community feedback and brings back some fan-favorite elements from the original game while introducing exciting new features.

What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

The highlight of Update 1.1 is the introduction of Legend Mode, a new difficulty setting that surpasses even the Challenge Mode. In this mode, the enemies on Woanope are faster, deal more damage, and have increased health, making the game even more challenging. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes becomes more fragile, adding another layer of difficulty. While there are no additional achievements for completing Legend Mode, you will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels upon completion.

On the opposite end, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed experience. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on activities like farming mushrooms, building homes, and fishing. It's perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in the story, decorate their base, and enjoy the unique characters of Crashlands 2.

One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return in this update. This tool meticulously tracks Flux's discoveries, including pets, recipes, and items, helping players keep track of their progress towards various in-game goals.

Pets also got a bit of an upgrade

With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 now actively participate in combat, enhancing their utility. Each pet comes equipped with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding strategic depth to battles. Additionally, gear crafting has been enriched with random bonus stats on armor, and a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been introduced.

Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update. Players can now build on a broader range of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the night-time darkness settings, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store and was initially released on April 10th. This patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and continuously improving the game.
