Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by former CD Projekt RED developers, recently hosted a stream to unveil their debut project, *The Blood of Dawnwalker*. This dark fantasy action RPG was introduced with a captivating four-minute cinematic trailer, which also serves as the opening to the game's storyline.

Set in an alternate version of mid-14th century Europe, *The Blood of Dawnwalker* follows the journey of a young man named Coen. After the events shown in the intro, Coen gains supernatural powers and is tasked with rescuing his loved ones from vampires. The urgency of his mission is underscored by a strict deadline of 30 days and nights. Time in the game advances only during specific gameplay moments, requiring players to manage it meticulously.

Throughout the game, Coen faces moral dilemmas that challenge him to either hold onto his humanity or embrace his dark vampiric nature. These choices not only influence the storyline but also affect gameplay. A central mechanic, Blood Hunger, adds tension to the narrative; if Coen goes too long without feeding, he risks losing control and potentially killing key characters, leading to unforeseen outcomes.

Players will have the liberty to explore richly detailed environments, with many elements varying based on the time of day. The developers have described the open world as a "narrative sandbox," offering extensive opportunities for player interaction and decision-making.

Currently in development for two years, *The Blood of Dawnwalker* is being crafted using Unreal Engine 5. The game is slated for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, although an exact release date has yet to be announced.
