New Feature: Clear Bosses Without Combat

In an exciting development for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), players now have the option to circumvent traditional boss battles. During the April 14 episode of the Koji Pro radio broadcasts, DS2 Director Hideo Kojima unveiled a feature designed to assist less experienced players in navigating boss encounters.

Kojima detailed that upon failing a boss fight, players can opt to press "continue" at the game over screen. This choice enables them to move forward in the game by viewing images and text that narrate the battle, akin to a visual novel. This approach ensures players don't miss out on crucial narrative elements, even if they choose not to engage in combat.

Death Stranding 2 Nears Completion at 95%

Hideo Kojima has shared that Death Stranding 2 is now 95% complete. In his words, "It's at about 95% now… It feels like it is 10 o’clock (PM), speaking of 24 hours, Koji Pro’s DS2 is at 10 o’clock (PM), there are 2 hours left." This metaphor suggests that the game is in its final stages of development.

Following directly from the events of the original game, DS2 promises to expand on its predecessor's story. At last month's South by Southwest (SXSW) event, Kojima Productions and Sony unveiled a 10-minute trailer, offering glimpses into DS2’s narrative, introducing new characters, and sparking fan excitement.
