The eagerly awaited Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off on August 6, 2024, at approximately 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or for those in the United States, on September 7 at 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT.

Following a pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15, the developers identified several critical issues that affected gameplay for a limited group of players. As a result, they postponed the planned July Alpha Test to ensure a smoother experience for everyone.

Originally, Delta Force was set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, without a specified end date. Participants could gain access by completing player surveys on the official website, requesting access on the Steam page, or by watching Twitch streams to earn Steam keys through Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a crucial stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access to help identify and resolve issues before the full Alpha Test commenced.
