Discounted Pokémon TCG: Journey Together ETBs and Booster Bundles Now Available
After the chaotic launch of Pokémon TCG: Journey Together, it's surprising to see how quickly the situation has stabilized. Amazon is now offering the Elite Trainer Box at a discounted price of $70.31 and the Booster Bundle at $37.97, both at their regular MSRP. Just a few weeks ago, these items were being scalped as if they were made of gold-foil Charizards, and now they're readily available and in stock. It's a refreshing change of pace.

The decline in single card prices has certainly helped calm the market. The initial frenzy of panic-buying has dissipated, leaving behind a well-designed set that's enjoyable to open and now more accessible than ever. This is the most relaxed a Pokémon TCG release has felt since Stellar Crown. It's an excellent time to pick up sealed products, especially if you missed out during the launch week and watched TCGPlayer listings plummet in real time.

This box is packed with goodies: nine Journey Together booster packs, a full-art foil N’s Zorua, card sleeves, energy, dice, condition markers, and a code card for Live. It also comes with a booklet detailing what you're unlikely to pull, adding a touch of realism. I find this box perfect as both a display piece and a slow-opening project. Opening one pack a night feels like a mini cardboard advent calendar of anticipation.

Regarding singles, the ETB-exclusive N’s Zorua isn't bad, but the more sought-after cards are finally reaching their expected prices. Lillie’s Clefairy ex SIR remains pricey at $180, yet it's less than half its pre-order peak. N’s Zoroark ex is now around $13, and even the stamped version is cheaper than a movie ticket. If you're considering opening sealed products, now is the time when the value proposition makes sense.

This bundle contains six booster packs without any extras. It's ideal for those who simply want to open packs and chase those exciting pulls. It's more cost-effective than the ETB and doesn't include unnecessary extras like sleeves or dividers.

The card market for this set has seen a significant drop, making it a more compelling purchase now. Salamence ex SIR has fallen from $250 to around $106, and it's likely to settle near $100. Iono’s Bellibolt ex, which I thought would be a big hit, is now around $8. While this isn't great news for early buyers, it's fantastic for those just entering the market with a Booster Bundle.

I picked up one of these mainly because I had $10 of Amazon credit to use, but it turned out to be a decent purchase. Each pack contains random blister artwork and ten cards, offering either a thrill or a mild disappointment.

I bought this because I love quirky acrylic standees and chaotic Pokémon. It includes six booster packs, a full-art Bellibolt ex, a foil Tadbulb, and fun extras like a sticker and a display backdrop. Are these extras necessary? Not really. But did I want them anyway? Absolutely.
Bellibolt's cards are following the trend of most full arts in this set: their values are dropping rapidly. The standard full-art Bellibolt ex is now between $7 and $8, while the Special Illustration Rare is around $80. That's still pricey, but a far cry from the early days when it was being compared to a rare Iono alt-art. This collection is a great choice for fans of the character, and I'm happy to pay for the charm now that the market has returned to reality.
