Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Near the start of the level, you'll encounter a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug. Move past it to find a pig. After it charges at you, grab it and swing it toward the edge of your platform until it targets an icy statue. Release the pig to smash the statue, then backtrack, flip the ladybug, and use it to bounce up to a new platform. Execute a charged spin attack to enter a room with the hidden portal.

Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, look back to see his claw embedded in the ground, marked by a glowing light. Perform a charged spin attack to drill into the ground, uncovering a treasure-filled room with the secret portal.

Mid-level, locate a house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and douse the flames. Descend the chimney to find a room with the secret portal.

At the very end, look to your right to see falling jewels. Approach the bounce pad there to be launched into an area with the hidden portal. Be prepared for a trap; locate hidden switches on two encroaching walls to open the path to the portal.

The most challenging portal to find, you'll need the puffer-fish power-up. Backtrack to an early area with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug and propel it toward the platform's edge. Bounce on it, activate the puffer-fish, and use Astro's hover to reach the platform. Use motion controls to clear the surrounding bamboo and reveal the portal. Circle its perimeter to activate it.
