Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, has arrived, marking the game's most expansive season yet. Now officially live, it introduces a wealth of new content that reshapes the gameplay, inviting players to construct a floating empire in the sky.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you manage. Players will gather resources from the Netherrealm and transform them into tangible benefits by employing workers across five different professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, merging the excitement of ARPG combat with the depth of a strategy simulation.

The character Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has undergone a dark transformation into the Blasphemer. She now inflicts desecration instead of blessings, accumulating Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.

The Deep Space region has received a significant update, featuring five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced, functioning similarly to Compasses but occupying their own slot. Probes enhance both the rewards and the difficulty level of your adventure.

The endgame experience is enriched with the addition of new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. For instance, the Abyssal Vault deviates from the norm by containing no enemies, only Mystery Chests ready to be explored.

On the other hand, the Sea of Rites presents a unique challenge with a swarm of non-aggressive goblins. Defeating them can trigger the appearance of a secret boss.

The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both players and bosses to utilize it. A well-timed strike can transform enemies directly into treasure.
