Strategies for Defeating All E.R.P.O. Monsters
With new monsters frequently introduced to E.R.P.O., bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you’ll find tailored strategies for each monster. While general combat tactics work, you can also use weapons like:
Melee Combat: Purchase weapons like the Machete or Hammer in the shop for 10,000 to 20,000 cash. They appear in your next level, ready to pick up with M1 and swing at monsters for damage. Exercise caution against ranged threats like the Huntsman, and opt for hit-and-run tactics to minimize damage. Always carry healing packs for melee encounters. Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades and Mines are powerful tools. For Grenades, pick them up with M1, uncork with E, and throw or place them to deal massive damage, often killing weaker monsters or heavily damaging tougher ones. Mines require placement, detonating when a monster steps on them. Monster Brawl: Lure a Huntsman to attack another monster by moving behind it and making noise via walking or voice chat. The Huntsman’s shot will hit the monster in front. Similarly, bait Reapers during their attack animation to damage each other or nearby monsters.
Here are specific strategies for each monster.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe is a massive, shadowy figure that grabs and damages you on contact. Evade it by crouching to hide or kiting it around. Two Grenades or Mines can eliminate it if you lure it into range, but avoid melee due to its high damage output. Be wary, as it teleports and speeds up if you stare at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper, a tattered doll-like creature with spinning sword arms, deals melee damage. It can be kited or avoided like the Robe but doesn’t teleport. Melee weapons are effective since its damage is lower than the Robe’s. A single Grenade, followed by a couple of melee hits, can defeat it, with explosives also stunning it temporarily.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These small, seemingly harmless ducks follow you unless provoked. Attacking or accidentally harming them—such as by dropping an object—turns them hostile. When enraged, they fly and bite relentlessly, dealing low damage. Outrun them or use melee weapons to dispatch them quickly, as their low health makes Grenades unnecessary.
Huntsman

The Huntsman is a blind, gun-wielding foe that can one-shot you. It relies on sound, detecting you through voice chat or fast movement. Crouch with C and hide under tables to evade it. Melee is risky due to its auto-aim. Instead, place a Mine in its path or throw a Grenade while crouched to deafen it for six seconds, allowing a safe melee attack window.
