Etheria: Restart Gearing Towards Launch

Etheria: Restart announced on Twitter (X) on April 21 that they will be hosting a global livestream ahead of its final beta test. The livestream is scheduled for April 25, 2025, at 21:00 (UTC-5) and will be broadcast on Etheria: Restart’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Etheria: Restart is an upcoming free-to-play hero RPG that promises thrilling live arena battles set in a futuristic, sci-fi world. In this game, humanity faces a catastrophic global freeze, prompting them to upload their minds to Etheria, where they coexist with beings known as the Animus. However, a new threat emerges in the form of the Genesis Virus, which corrupts the Animus and turns them hostile.

As a Hyperlinker in the Hyperlinker Union, players are tasked with combating this viral menace and uncovering its origins to protect both the virtual world and the remnants of real humanity. Built on Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts stunning graphics and cinematic scenes. Its gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, and includes a PvP arena for competitive real-time battles. The game also features a gacha system where players can obtain new characters using Hydra Crystals, which can be earned in-game or purchased with real-life currency.

Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025

The final beta test is set to kick off on May 8, 2025, and will feature the Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, as well as real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by fan-favorite titles like Summoners War and Epic Seven. Cross-play will be available during this beta test, allowing players on mobile and PC to engage in the real-time arena, form the best squads for intense boss fights, and unlock new companions called "Shells."

Recruitment for the final beta test is now open, and interested players can find more details on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, and the game’s official website. Note that pre-registration is not available in South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
