Fortnite is gearing up for an epic celebration of Star Wars with its upcoming season, Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2, 2025. This season promises an immersive experience with a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and an engaging five-part saga packed with thrilling surprises. The highlight of this season is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale, a twist that fans are eagerly anticipating.

The exciting announcement was made during Star Wars Celebration, where attendees were treated to a glimpse of the Star Wars-themed fun awaiting players. One of the standout additions is the in-game ability, Force Lightning, which is sure to add a new dimension to gameplay.

Further details revealed at the event include Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader being featured in the Battle Pass. The Item Shop will introduce new offerings such as Mace Windu, and players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters. Themed map locations will further enhance the Star Wars atmosphere within Fortnite.

The Galactic Battle saga will unfold over five weeks, each with a distinct theme:

• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025
