Pokémon GO March 2025 Community Day: Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight

The Pokémon GO community is buzzing with excitement as the March 2025 Community Day event kicks off, featuring the fiery Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon. This event promises a thrilling experience for trainers, along with a lineup of upcoming Community Days and exciting Timed Research rewards during the Beloved Buddies event.

Fuecoco Appears in March’s First Community Day

Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the show for the first Community Day of March on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. Trainers can expect to see Fuecoco appearing more frequently on the map during this period, with an increased chance of encountering its Shiny variant.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (which evolves from Crocalor) during or within one week after the event will grant it the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Additionally, Skeledirge can learn the Charged Attack Torch Song without any time restrictions, adding versatility to your battle strategies.

A Special Background Timed Research will be available, rewarding trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks will further boost the Shiny rate of Fuecoco encounters. The deadline to complete these tasks is March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time.

For an additional $2.00, trainers can access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, which includes encounters with three Fuecoco, each sporting a Seasonal Special Background, alongside the usual rewards like Battle Pass and Rare Candies. This ticket can also be purchased and gifted to friends at the Great Friends level or higher.

Pokemon GO Revealed Community Days Dates for March and Beyond

In addition to the exciting Fuecoco event, Pokémon GO has unveiled the schedule for Community Day events from March to May 2025, all set to occur on weekends:

• Saturday, March 8, 2025
• Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025
• Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

The Community Day Classic events will feature Pokémon from past Community Days, such as Ralts, originally showcased in August 2019 and reprised in January 2025. New Pokémon will be highlighted on the other dates, though their identities remain a mystery for now.

Candela or Arlo: Which One to Choose?

The Beloved Buddies event, which debuted Dhelmise, introduces a Timed Research with two distinct paths: one centered on building relationships with your Buddy Pokémon and Team Valor's leader, Candela, and the other on catching Pokémon and battling Team GO Rocket's leader, Arlo.

Before choosing a path, trainers will complete initial tasks to earn Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. After that, the paths diverge, each offering unique rewards:

The Candela path rewards trainers with Poffins, Stardust, and Ultra Balls, along with encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

On the Arlo path, trainers can earn the same items, plus a Pocket Radar for tracking down Team GO Rocket leaders, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
