Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor Brings Exciting New Content!

Expect the usual triple dose of expansions, Mini-Sets, and Battlegrounds seasons to roll out soon, keeping the excitement levels high throughout the year. The Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, which received an overwhelmingly positive response, is just the beginning. Blizzard is clearly excited to keep the momentum going and has even shared a roadmap to give fans a glimpse into the game's near future.

What Does the Year of the Raptor Bring to Hearthstone?

One of the most anticipated updates for the Year of the Raptor is the revamped Arena mode. In the works since last year, this update is set to breathe new life into a mode that's been a staple since Hearthstone's inception, attracting a new generation of players.

The cosmetic offerings are also set to receive a significant upgrade. Look out for new Mythic skins, Signature cards, and the introduction of Pets—a novel addition to the cosmetic system. While Blizzard hasn't revealed all the details yet, it's clear that they're looking to enhance the visual appeal of the game.

The Year of the Raptor officially kicks off with the first expansion, Into the Emerald Dream. Card reveals are slated to begin next week, and there's already an in-game celebration happening. By completing the Event Track, players can earn rewards such as The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a special Raptor Herald card.
