Krysten Ritter Confirmed to Reprise Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

Krysten Ritter is set to reprise her role as Jessica Jones in the eagerly awaited Season 2 of *Daredevil: Born Again*. The exciting news was officially announced during the Disney Upfront presentation in New York, as reported by Variety. This announcement comes after months of speculation and rumors about the potential return of the Netflix Defenders to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Ritter appeared on stage with her *Daredevil* and *The Defenders* co-star Charlie Cox, sharing her enthusiasm about returning to the role. Ritter first brought Jessica Jones to life when *Jessica Jones* Season 1 debuted on Netflix in 2015. The series was well-received, leading to two more seasons and the crossover event *The Defenders*. However, as Netflix's era with original Marvel programming drew to a close, the future of Ritter's character seemed uncertain.

The landscape changed in 2021 when Disney regained the rights to certain characters, including Jessica Jones. Following Charlie Cox's cameo in *Spider-Man: No Way Home* and his starring role in *Daredevil: Born Again*, fans began to hope for the return of other Netflix heroes.
