LEGO Unveils Jango Fett's Starship, New Star Wars Sets Before May the Fourth

Author : Layla May 16,2025

LEGO has unveiled an exciting lineup of nine new Star Wars sets, all set to launch on May 1, 2025, in celebration of Star Wars Day. This annual event, known as May the 4th, is a highlight for fans, and LEGO traditionally marks the occasion with the release of a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship. In previous years, fans were treated to Luke's X-Wing Starfighter in 2023 and the TIE Interceptor in 2024.

This year, LEGO is introducing Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, famously known as Slave I among long-time Star Wars enthusiasts. The name was officially changed to Firespray Starship in 2021 at Disney's request, a decision LEGO has confirmed and which appears to be permanent.

This is nearly three times the size of the last large-scale version released in 2019, which had 1,007 pieces and was based on "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back." The updated model measures 7.5 inches high, 17.5 inches long, and 15.5 inches wide.
