In Scene 10 of Tape 1, titled 'Lights, Camera, Action!', you'll come across the first padlock puzzle. After completing the Forest Girls Memoir, move through the park and approach the wire fence near Kat's family property. Here, you'll find "love locks" attached by young couples, including one belonging to Corey and Dylan.
To unlock it, you'll need a four-digit combination. However, the clue for this code isn't available until Scene 24, near the end of Tape 1. Search Corey’s bag on his bike in the parking lot to find a Polaroid photo with the caption indicating their anniversary date: August 27, 1994. Use this date to unlock the padlock with the code 0827, which will also earn you the hidden ‘Heartbreak’ achievement/trophy.

The second puzzle is found in Scene 13 of Tape 1, 'Cabin in the Woods'. As the girls explore a mysterious cabin, Swann needs to solve a padlock to escape. Examine the Old Sheet on a wooden beam for hints on the lock's four dials. The first symbol is already solved, so focus on the other three.
For the second symbol, head to the kitchen and pull the rope handle to access the attic. Turn around to find a crescent moon symbol on the far wall.

For the third symbol, inspect the can furthest to the left on the stove to find a leaf symbol on its bottom. For the fourth symbol, examine the bear trap on the back wall, which will snap shut to reveal a star symbol on the wood behind it. Return to the front door and input these symbols to unlock it and continue the story.
