Capcom's latest Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase revealed a wealth of exciting updates and content for fans of the series. Title Update 1, set to launch on April 4, 2025, will be available as a free update for all Monster Hunter Wilds players. Alongside this update, a variety of free and paid DLC will be released, enhancing the game's social and customization aspects. A new hub, the Grand Hub, will offer hunters more ways to socialize, while new armor and cosmetic options will refresh the fashion scene. A New Hub For Hunters

Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds The showcase kicked off with a detailed look at the new endgame hub, the Grand Hub, designed for hunting parties. This hub introduces a range of activities, from communal feasting and arm wrestling to enjoying performances by the Diva at night. A fun addition is the Barrel Bowling mini-game, where players can earn vouchers and rewards through various in-game activities. To unlock the Grand Hub, reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak with Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.

Mizutsune Arrives

Mizutsune in Monster Hunter Wilds A highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of Mizutsune, the bubbly monster known for its swift tail strikes and water jets. Players at Hunter Rank 21 or above can encounter Mizutsune in the Scarlet Forest by speaking with Kanya to start the quest. Successful hunts will yield materials for crafting new gear.

Additional Hunts on the Way

An upcoming Event Quest will feature Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a challenge for players at Hunter Rank 50 or above. This fight promises new armor for those who can overcome it. Additionally, Zoh Shia, previously a one-time story fight, will be available for repeated battles through new quests, also at HR 50, with new armor to craft.

Arena Quests

Speedrunners will enjoy the new Arena Quests, where they can compete for the fastest clear times. Both Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will be accessible through the counter in the Grand Hub, with pendants awarded for participation and achievement.

Change Alma's Outfit

Alma's new outfits in Monster Hunter Wilds Alma, the dedicated handler, will now have customizable outfits. Players can change her attire through an appearance menu in camp, with one new outfit available for free. Completing a specific side mission will also allow you to change Alma's glasses.

More DLC is on the Way

New DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 will be accompanied by a mix of free and paid DLC. Classic gestures from previous Monster Hunter games will be freely available, while the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1, accessible through the store or with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition, will offer new stickers and looks for Alma.

More Event Quests and Seasonal Events

Seasonal Events in Monster Hunter Wilds Additional Event Quests and Seasonal Events are planned, with the Grand Hub transforming during these special times. The Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, starting on April 23, will introduce pink cherry blossoms and new decor. Capcom has confirmed that most past events and Event Quests will return.

The Roadmap Ahead

Title Update 1 will roll out on April 3 for U.S. players, followed by the Blossomdance on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau will arrive on April 29, and by the end of May, additional features and a Capcom collaboration will be introduced.
