Netflix has officially announced that Squid Game Season 3 will premiere on June 27, 2025, marking the final chapter of this gripping series. Alongside the announcement, Netflix unveiled a new poster and a series of images, offering fans "a tantalizing glimpse into the fate of the surviving players."

Continuing from where Season 2 concluded, the third season delves into the critical decisions faced by Gi-hun, portrayed by Lee Jung-jae, as he navigates "overwhelming despair." Meanwhile, the Front Man, played by Lee Byung-hun, strategizes his next move, pushing the surviving players into increasingly perilous situations with each round of the deadly games. According to Netflix, "This season promises to push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action."

"Gone is the rainbow-hued track of Season 2’s six-legged pentathlon; in its place, a vividly swirling flower-pattern floor ominously foreshadows the cutthroat finale to come," Netflix stated. The poster also includes the sinister silhouettes of Young-hee and her companion Cheol-su, hinting at even more brutal games to come, as first suggested in the post-credit scene of the previous season.
