While the game features a variety of Kith races, the character creator in *Avowed* offers a more limited selection of playable races. Humans (Known In-Universe as Folk)

In *Avowed*, Humans, referred to as Folk, are the most prevalent race both in the game world and within the character creator. As part of the Kith, a term encompassing various sentient and civilized species, Humans are central to the narrative and player experience.

The character customization for Humans in *Avowed* is designed to be inclusive, offering a broad range of options. Players can access numerous presets, detailed customization tools, and a variety of facial features, skin tones, and hair textures. Elves

Elves represent another selectable race in *Avowed*. Visually, Elves are quite similar to Humans, distinguished mainly by their unique facial structures and iconic long, pointed ears. This subtle differentiation adds a layer of diversity to the character creation process.

Godlikes

The third and final playable race option in *Avowed* is the Godlikes. While all Envoys in the game's story are Godlike, players have the flexibility to decide whether to display these distinctive features.
