Pokémon TCG Pocket Is Adding Shiny Pokémon Soon!

Exciting news for Pokémon TCG Pocket enthusiasts! The game is set to dazzle with the introduction of Shiny Pokémon through the upcoming Shining Revelry expansion. Announced by The Pokémon Company, this update promises to bring a literal sparkle to the digital card game.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, as that's when the Shining Revelry expansion will launch. This update is jam-packed with over 110 new cards, including Shiny versions of fan-favorites like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The digital format will enhance the visual experience, making these Shiny cards shimmer when tilted. Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder.

In addition to Shiny Pokémon, characters from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono, will make their debut. From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, offering you the chance to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks.
