Pokémon GO May 2025 Roadmap Revealed: Expect Surprises!
May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a lineup that promises a variety of thrilling events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is the much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio in 5-Star Raids, which will be available across multiple regions.
What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?
Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be featured in Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th. This Pokémon brings the powerful special move Nature's Madness and offers a chance to encounter its Shiny form.
Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio makes a grand entrance starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland. This regional distribution adds a unique layer of excitement for players worldwide.
After the Lake Trio's departure, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a chance to catch its Shiny variant.
For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers an impressive lineup. From May 1st to 12th, Mega Houndoom will be available. Mega Gyarados follows from May 12th to 25th, and Mega Altaria will close out the month from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month kicks off with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to 7th, complemented by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. The "Crown Clash" event runs from May 10th to 18th, with a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.
Community Day is scheduled for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will take place from May 14th to 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.
The "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" event will run from May 21st to 27th, with the May Community Day Classic happening on May 24th. Wrapping up the month, a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day is set for May 25th, 2025.
