Pokémon Go has introduced an exciting new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing the experience with exclusive in-game items and improved real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms." Go Fest, the game's annual summer extravaganza, is set to take place at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. Players attending the Jersey City event can now enhance their existing tickets with this premium add-on, as announced by developer Niantic, unlocking a suite of benefits.

PlayThink of it as a Business Class upgrade for the event. Those who opt for the Premier Access ticket will enjoy exclusive access to a Premier Access lounge. Niantic has promised "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." Although the specifics on the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed, this area promises a more comfortable experience compared to standard facilities.

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will benefit from fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass the often lengthy queues. This perk is invaluable as it saves precious time, letting you spend more of your event window exploring and capturing Pokémon rather than waiting in line.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade is undoubtedly the vast array of in-game items it provides. With 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and more, this package could be worth over $300 if purchased separately. Here’s the comprehensive list of what you’ll receive:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes

  • 5 Max Mushrooms

As a final touch, Premier Access ticket holders will also receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

The response to this new ticket offer has been mixed. Some players have expressed concern over the high cost, noting that this is the most expensive upgrade Pokémon Go has ever offered. Others point out that the game has increasingly introduced various monetization options. On the other hand, many appreciate the value of the in-game items included, and believe that for those who can afford it, the upgrade represents a worthwhile investment after already committing to travel and entry fees for Go Fest.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
