In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a world of activities beyond just hunting the biggest beasts. If you're aiming to unlock the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's your step-by-step guide to success.

How To Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Contrary to what the trophy's name might suggest, you won't be chasing dragons or wyverns for this one. Instead, your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can capture using your trusty Capture Net.

Finding these creatures can be a bit tricky since they're scattered across various maps. However, we've found the Scarlet Forest to be a reliable spot. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp. If you haven't discovered this site yet, it's nestled between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you reach the Flowering Rocks, keep an eye out for a nearby puddle of water. This spot is a prime spawning ground for the Curioshell Crab. If you're having trouble spotting one, Alma can be your guide. She'll hint at the presence of a crab by asking if it's holding something.

Equip your Capture Net, line up your shot with the reticle turning orange, and fire away to capture the creature. A successful catch will net you not only a Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Remember, the Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so anticipate its path and aim ahead to secure your catch. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you can also try your luck in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. These crabs might appear in other areas too, but these spots are where we've had the most success.
