Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Reveals

Now in its tenth year, Rainbow Six Siege is entering a new era. During today’s presentation, Ubisoft unveiled Siege X, marking a significant evolution for the game, much like CS2 did for CS:GO.

Siege X is slated to launch on June 10, and with its release, the game will transition to a free-to-play model for all players, making it more accessible than ever.

Key Changes in Siege X:

New Mode: Dual Front – This exciting 6v6 match format combines attack and defense operators into a thrilling new experience. The objective is to capture enemy zones and plant sabotage devices. The map features multiple areas, including three per team and one large neutral zone, with players respawning 30 seconds after death, adding a dynamic layer to the gameplay.

Advanced Rappel System – Players can now utilize ropes in both vertical and horizontal directions, enhancing tactical options and movement strategies.

Increased Environmental Destruction – The trailer highlighted new destructible elements, such as fire extinguishers and gas pipes that can be blown up, adding more chaos and strategic depth to the game environment.

Reworks for Five Popular Maps – These maps are receiving major updates to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.

Graphical & Audio Enhancements – Ubisoft is introducing a substantial upgrade to both visuals and sound, promising a richer and more immersive experience for players.

Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – The developers are committed to refining the anti-cheat system and addressing toxic behavior within the community, ensuring a fairer and more enjoyable gaming environment.

Ubisoft has also announced a closed beta that will be available over the next seven days. Players can gain access to the beta by watching Siege streams, offering an early sneak peek at the exciting changes coming with Siege X.
