In the thrilling second update of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now introduces the exclusive Spring Hunt 2025 event. This online paid event, running from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, promises an exhilarating experience centered around the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

The Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now requires an event ticket, available for purchase in the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks a series of uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, exclusively featuring Chameleos. Say goodbye to waiting times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, and hello to bonus Chameleos-themed layered gear.

The event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be accessible, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opening from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event, from May 19th to May 25th, you can earn tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.

Chameleos, renowned for its stealthy maneuvers and the ability to emit a disorienting fog, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. Players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your chances, equip weapons and armor that exploit Chameleos' vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.

Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which features the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and enhances your ability to poison your targets. Additionally, Chameleos materials can be used to craft a variety of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
