Xbox Game Pass April 2025 Wave 1 Lineup Unveiled by Microsoft

Microsoft has announced an exciting lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of April 2025, featuring a mix of first- and third-party titles. The month starts strong with the addition of several high-profile games, as detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post.

The first wave of games will begin rolling out on April 3, starting with Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, available on Cloud, Console, and PC across all Game Pass tiers. Also joining on the same day are All You Need Is Help for Console, Still Wakes the Deep for Xbox Series X|S, and Wargroove 2 for Console, all accessible through Game Pass Standard. This initial batch offers a diverse range of gaming experiences to keep players engaged throughout the month.

Just five days later, on April 8, subscribers can look forward to South of Midnight, available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. This highly anticipated folklore adventure from Compulsion Games is set to be one of the year's biggest releases. Microsoft describes it as a journey through the Deep South's mythos, where players will confront mysterious creatures and harness ancient powers to overcome challenges and heal their hometown. On the same day, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition will be available for Console and PC across all Game Pass tiers.

The following days will see more additions, with Commandos: Origins arriving on April 9 for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, and Blue Prince joining on April 10, both for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Wrapping up the first wave on April 15, Hunt: Showdown 1896 will be added for PC, available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

In addition to the new game releases, Xbox Game Pass perks are being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
