Most Popular 'Street Fighter 6' Characters Dominating Pro Scene

The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the focus is usually on the players themselves, let's examine the character choices among the elite.

Following the World Warrior circuit, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data offers a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 fighters saw representation, although only one player opted for Ryu out of nearly two hundred participants (data included eight regional finalists from 24 regions). Even the recently added Terry Bogard was selected by only two players.

Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each favored as a main character by 17 players. A significant gap follows, with the next tier comprising Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (both 11), and JP and Chun-Li (both with 10 players). Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected as a main character by seven players.

Capcom Cup 11 is scheduled for March in Tokyo, with a grand prize of one million dollars awaiting the champion.
