Sueca enjoys widespread popularity across Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Macau, Mozambique, and other regions with Portuguese heritage. This strategic team game pits two pairs of players against each other in thrilling card battles.

Gameplay Basics

The goal is simple: collect valuable tricks! Players use a stripped-down 40-card deck (removing 8s, 9s, and 10s from standard decks). Card rankings follow this special sequence:

Card Rankings:

• Ace (highest)
• 7 (called "manilha")
• King
• Jack
• Queen
• 6 through 2

Card Values:

• Ace = 11 points
• 7 = 10 points
• King = 4 points
• Jack = 3 points
• Queen = 2 points
• Others = 0 points

Remember: The highest trump card automatically wins any trick!
