BASE is an innovative app that harnesses the excitement of football to enhance learning in schools. Designed as a partner tool for teachers, BASE transforms the daily classroom experience by integrating play into education, allowing children to absorb the same curriculum content through engaging gameplay. The app's initial phase is structured like a sports tournament, divided into three seasons. Each season features four levels of competition: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season. These tournaments vary in the number and difficulty of questions, which are referred to as matches within the game. BASE employs gamification techniques, rewarding students with coins, points, and trophies to maintain and boost their interest in learning.
The educational content of BASE was meticulously developed by the team at the Vini.Jr Institute, in collaboration with the faculty of the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. Initially, the focus of BASE's educational technology is on the early years of Elementary School, specifically targeting students from 1st to 5th grade, aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of sports and the power of technology, BASE aims to captivate young learners. All questions within the app adhere to the guidelines set by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring that the educational material aligns with national standards.
