Ariana Grande Joins Meet the Parents 4 Cast
Ariana Grande expands her acting portfolio with a lead role in Meet the Parents 4 alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
Details about Grande's latest film project come from The Hollywood Reporter, revealing the pop icon-turned-Wicked actress will join the beloved comedy franchise. Universal Pictures plans to reunite the Focker and Byrnes families on November 25, 2026.

Stiller and De Niro have committed to their fourth on-screen clash as contentious in-laws. While franchise veterans Blythe Danner and Teri Polo are expected to return, their participation remains in final negotiations according to THR sources. Though plot details remain largely under wraps, the outlet reports one central storyline will focus on Polo and Stiller's character's son becoming engaged to "a strong-willed woman seemingly wrong for him" - with Grande set to portray this disruptive fiancée.
Franchise devotees will be pleased to learn Meet the Parents 4 brings back writer/director John Hamburg at the helm. Original trilogy director Jay Roach joins as producer alongside De Niro and Jane Rosenthal through Tribeca Productions. Stiller produces via Red Hour Films with John Lesher, while Hamburg contributes through Particular Pictures. Universal executives Matt Reilly and Jacqueline Garell will supervise production.

While primarily celebrated for her musical achievements - including seven critically acclaimed studio albums - Grande recently demonstrated her acting prowess in 2024's Eternal Sunshine album and her breakthrough role in last fall's Wicked. Her portrayal of Galinda/Glinda in the acclaimed Wizard of Oz adaptation earned widespread praise and an Oscar nomination. She'll reprise the role in Wicked: For Good on November 21, 2025.
