TED Tumblewords Relaunches on Android: Boggle Meets Rubik's Cube

TED Tumblewords is now available on Android. Developed by Frosty Pop in partnership with TED, this word puzzle game might ring a bell—it originally launched on Netflix Games back in November 2024.
That version was discontinued in July 2025, following Netflix's decision to phase out several gaming titles. Shortly after, Frosty Pop revealed plans for a standalone release.
Fresh take on word games
In TED Tumblewords for Android, players slide rows and columns to align letters and form words. Each bite-sized session blends clever gameplay with TED-inspired facts—quick, engaging, and slightly brain-teasing.
Designed for short play sessions, rounds last just minutes. The mechanics simulate shuffling a 3D cube while word hunting—you physically reposition the board to create connections.
Bonus points come from special grid tiles and extended word chains. Want a preview? Check out the gameplay below.
Accessible wordplay on Android
TED Talk quotes welcome players at launch, with each puzzle serving as a quick cognitive exercise. The game maintains vocabulary skills while indulging trivia lovers.
Daily challenges include the Daily Ladder (progress through word counts), Daily Six (spell six words for high scores), and Daily Match (compete against AI).
Diverse categories span Science in Films to Health—solved grids unlock collectible fact cards about each topic.
Play turn-based matches against friends or random opponents. Previously unavailable without Netflix? Now accessible for free via Google Play.
