It's official: Donkey Kong Bananza currently ranks as Amazon's top-selling game. Given the explosive popularity of the Switch 2, it's no surprise this highly anticipated title is dominating the bestseller charts.

At publication time, the game holds the #11 spot on Amazon's official rankings - the highest position of any individual game - surpassing critically praised titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (PS5) and trailing only behind perennial favorites like Roblox, PlayStation, and Xbox gift cards.

Joining DK on the bestsellers list is an affordable third-party screen protector kit for Nintendo Switch 2, currently priced at just $8.99 - a $4 discount from its original $12.99 MSRP.

With Donkey Kong Bananza's July 17 launch approaching, Amazon recently resumed preorders after resolving its previous dispute with Nintendo of America, marking the return of first-party Nintendo titles to the retailer.

While the Switch 2 console remains unavailable through Amazon currently, this development suggests official console stock may arrive soon.

The game isn't the only DK-related item available for preorder either. Players can also reserve an adorable new amiibo featuring Donkey Kong and Pauline, scheduled for release on the same July 17 date.
