Valhalla Survival Update Adds Hero Ascension

Valhalla Survival just launched a massive new update, introducing new systems and challenges. Lionheart Studio has officially incorporated a Hero Ascension System into Valhalla Survival. On top of that, there are heaps of new battlefield items to discover.

What the New System Offers

The Hero Ascension System in Valhalla Survival enables you to enhance your heroes using Hero Shards. Each upgrade strengthens both generic Hero skills and class-specific abilities. Additionally, you can unlock a secondary skill slot to equip powers from other heroes.

Every upgrade attempt is guaranteed to succeed. Reaching specific ascension milestones grants cumulative passive stat boosts. If you achieve key levels, you also unlock special profile icons and frames that showcase your progress.

You can review the roster of heroes eligible for upgrades under the Hero Advancement tab. There, you can also preview how skills will evolve before finalizing the ascension.

At the initial tier, the system upgrades hero skills and unlocks the additional skill slot. The second tier concentrates on boosting class skills. Higher tiers are planned for future updates.

A Hero Trial System Is Also Included!

This lets you test heroes you haven't unlocked yet. You do this by entering a special five-minute stage where monsters assault you without inflicting actual damage.

Throughout the trial, hero skills have a fixed 10-second cooldown, and a preset level and equipment set is applied. If the trialled hero has ascension upgrades, those benefits will be active during the session.

In addition, the developers introduced three new treasure chest items: Flames of Muspelheim, Footsteps of Loki, and Coin of Fate. Each provides unique effects, ranging from offensive fire projection to temporary invincibility in battle.

Meanwhile, Nightmare Mode now features a fifth chapter, designed for seasoned players seeking a greater challenge. If you haven't yet tried this hack-and-slash roguelike game, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
