Horror Game Hungry Horrors Launches Demo, Mobile Coming

Hungry Horrors is an innovative roguelite deckbuilder by UK-based Clumsy Bear Studio, where players cook meals for monsters instead of battling them. The game recently launched its first playable demo on Steam.

Following its PC debut, Hungry Horrors will expand to mobile and console platforms. While no official release date is announced, players can currently experience the demo on Steam, Itch.io, and GOG. The developers actively engage with the community, having showcased at events like London Game Festival 2025.

The Steam demo offers substantial gameplay previews featuring two unique biomes, six hungry creatures to feed, two intense boss encounters, and four interactive NPCs. Players can also explore non-combat areas like the Nook and Trove to refine their culinary strategies.

Gameplay involves deciphering each monster's culinary preferences, encountering beings like Grendel and Redcap with bizarre dietary demands. Some crave sweets while others despise seafood.
