A short reveal trailer gave us our first glimpse of Persona 4 Revival, coming to Xbox, PS5, and PC. It will be available on Game Pass from day one. While the trailer was brief, the showcased environments appeared significantly enhanced over the original game's visuals.

Following the announcement, Kazuhisa Wada, director of developer P-Studio, shared these thoughts:

We are thrilled to finally announce Persona 4 Revival. We can't wait to share more details in the near future.
Persona 4 is a truly special title that has grown into a franchise with TV anime and games like Persona 4 Arena and Dancing All Night. It holds a dear place in my heart and at Atlus. Our team is pouring all their passion and love into this project. We believe both new players and longtime fans will find it a fresh and exciting experience, and we eagerly await the chance to share it with everyone.
Furthermore, as a studio, we are actively shaping the future of the Persona series. We are diligently working to meet the expectations of our global fans, and development is progressing smoothly. Please look forward to future announcements.
We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support for the Persona series.

Rumors of a Persona 4 remake have circulated for some time, fueled by domain registrations, insider reports, and recent comments from original voice actors who stated they would not be returning for the then-unannounced project, sparking much discussion online.

We awarded the original Persona 4 a 9/10, calling it "a significant improvement that offers a deeper, more engaging blend of dungeon crawling and social interaction." While Persona 4 Golden remains the definitive modern version, fans have long expressed disappointment over its absence on the Nintendo Switch, despite years of requests.
