Pokemon TCG Pocket Reveals Shining Revelry, Ranked Teasers
- Shiny Pokémon variants debut in the latest expansion
- Competitive Ranked Matches launching soon
- Collect over 110 brand-new cards
The dazzling Shiny Pokémon have officially arrived in Pokémon TCG Pocket, introducing more than 110 new cards to collect – though my dwindling Hourglass supply wishes I'd shown more restraint on those 10-pack openings. True to its Shining Revelry name, this expansion brings glittering new variants to the table, welcoming Pokémon from the Paldea region into the spotlight.
Like any devoted trainer, I immediately burned through my saved Pack Hourglasses upon the update's release. My haul? A prized Charizard EX stood out among otherwise modest pulls.
Pokémon Center Lady did offer some consolation – her Special Condition healing ability proving potentially invaluable against those pesky Burn effects during matches.

Following tradition, this expansion introduces another Emblem event featuring collectible badges to showcase. The new Ranked Matches system lets trainers battle their way from Beginner to Master Ball Rank, with seasonal rankings displayed publicly and exclusive emblems awarded monthly.
Time to dust off my deck-building skills and prepare for serious competition.
Eager trainers can download Pokémon TCG Pocket free-to-play (with optional in-app purchases) via the App Store or Google Play. Stay updated through the official Twitter account, or get a visual preview of the expansion's vibrant aesthetics in the embedded trailer above.
