Pokemon Go Fest 2025 to feature serene retreat, legendary giants

Pokémon GO launches its journey toward GO Fest 2025 Global with exciting new content. The upcoming festivities include three special themed events and the return of Legendary Titans alongside Gigantamax Pokémon.

What Are the Events in Pokémon Go Global Go Fest 2025?

First up is the Serene Retreat event, running from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. Trainers can encounter Pokémon including Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. Shiny variants of Snorlax and Chimecho may also appear.

Gigantamax Rillaboom will debut in six-star Max Battles from May 31st to June 1st, 2025 – marking its first appearance in Pokémon GO.

The main Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global event takes place on June 28th and 29th. This free worldwide celebration invites millions of trainers to participate from any location. Watch the official announcement here.

Ticket holders for Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global receive exclusive benefits, including an encounter with Mythical Pokémon Volcanion – making its worldwide debut after previous appearances in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.

But First, Another Major Event Awaits!

The Ancients Recovered event runs June 23rd-27th, 2025, featuring the return of Legendary Titans and their elemental counterparts. Each day showcases a different five-star raid boss, with special Raid Hours from 6:00-7:00 PM local time.

The schedule includes:

  • June 23rd: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel
  • June 24th: Regieleki
  • June 25th: Regidrago
  • June 26th: Regigigas
  • June 27th: Grand finale with all Titans returning

Legendary Pokémon caught during the event will know exclusive moves:

  • Regirock: Earthquake
  • Regice: Thunder
  • Registeel: Zap Cannon
  • Regieleki: Thunder Cage
  • Regidrago: Dragon Breath & Dragon Energy
  • Regigigas: Crush Grip
