Tom Holland on Tank in New Spider-Man Set Pics

Production has officially commenced on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with star Tom Holland sharing exciting behind-the-scenes photos of himself in full Spider-Man costume atop a military tank.
Lights, Camera, Tank Action!
The fourth solo installment featuring Holland as Marvel's web-slinger is currently filming in Glasgow, Scotland, where city streets have been transformed into a dramatic action set.
Following last week's first look at Holland's updated Spidey suit, the actor has now revealed thrilling images of himself strapped into a harness while riding a massive armored vehicle.
Holland posted these images on his Instagram with the caption "Spider-Man Brand New Day 1," marking an explosive start to production. Of course, with public filming comes fan footage - eagle-eyed onlookers captured videos of the spectacular tank scene.
Fair warning: One particularly excited Glaswegian fan in @jamieg1510's viral TikTok clip drops some colorful Scottish vernacular upon spotting their friendly neighborhood superhero: "It's f***ing Spider-Man!"

A Fresh Start for Spider-Man
Scheduled for July 31, 2026 release, Brand New Day represents a new chapter for Holland's Spider-Man following the emotional finale of 2021's No Way Home. After saying goodbye to his multiversal counterparts, Peter Parker made the heartbreaking decision to erase MJ (Zendaya) and Ned's (Jacob Batalon) memories for their safety.
This fresh start introduces new faces to Spider-Man's world while maintaining connections to the past. Stranger Things' Sadie Sink joins in a mysterious major role, while Jon Bernthal reprises his popular MCU portrayal of Frank Castle/The Punisher.
Recent reports suggest Mark Ruffalo's Hulk and Michael Mando's Scorpion may also appear. Eagle-eyed fans have spotted potential spoilers in the tank's insignia that may hint at the film's true antagonist.
Interestingly, both Spider-Man and Hulk - two of Marvel's biggest characters - remain unconfirmed for the concurrently filming Avengers: Doomsday. Meanwhile, Bernthal continues production on The Punisher TV special in New York, with all three MCU projects slated for 2026 releases.
