Wuthering Waves 2.3 Update Celebrates First Anniversary

Wuthering Waves has just launched its highly anticipated Version 2.3 update, aptly titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," which marks the game's first anniversary and its much-awaited debut on Steam. Now available on PC, this update is set to roll out over four exciting phases, starting on April 29th and continuing until June 12th, 2025.

This update brings a host of new content, including fresh characters, captivating story arcs, and a variety of engaging events. Players with a decent Union Level will find a wealth of activities to explore over the next month. The new storylines, "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither," promise to enrich the game's narrative. Additionally, players can encounter new Phantom Echoes such as Crownless (including its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the intriguing Chest Mimic.

To celebrate the game's anniversary and Steam launch, Wuthering Waves is hosting several login events. The "Gifts of Grand Celebration" event, running from May 23rd to June 11th, rewards players at Union Level 8 with Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance. Other events include "Gifts of Grand Reunion" (April 29th to June 11th) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5th to June 19th), offering a variety of rewards such as Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and essential upgrade materials.

New and Returning Minigames

The beloved Cubie Derby minigame is making a comeback, serving both as a leisure activity and a spectator event. Players can roll dice, move their Cube across the board, and collect rewards like the Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate. During the first phase of the update, players have the opportunity to pull for Resonators such as Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase lasts until June 11th.

In addition to the Cubie Derby, the update introduces other engaging events like the Solaris Film Festival. To experience all these exciting additions, players can download Wuthering Waves from the Google Play Store.
