Experience the timeless joy of the classic offline 29 Card Game anytime, anywhere! Known also as the 28 Card Game in some circles with slight rule variations, 29 is a beloved South Asian trick-taking game where the Jack and the Nine reign supreme in every suit.

Typically, 29 is enjoyed by four players arranged in fixed partnerships, with each partner sitting opposite one another. The game uses a 32-card deck drawn from the standard 52-card pack, comprising eight cards in each of the four "French" suits: hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. In each suit, cards rank from highest to lowest as follows: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7. The objective? To capture tricks that contain valuable cards.

Here’s how the points are scored:

• Jacks: 3 points each
• Nines: 2 points each
• Aces: 1 point each
• Tens: 1 point each
• Other cards (K, Q, 8, 7): no points

This setup yields a total of 28 points from the cards. Some versions of the game award an additional point for winning the last trick, bringing the total to 29, which explains the game's name. However, many modern players do not count the last trick point, yet the game retains its name, 29, even in the 28-point version.

Traditionally, the Twos, Threes, Fours, and Fives are removed from the deck and used as trump indicators, with each player receiving a set of these cards in all suits. The Sixes serve as scorekeepers, with each partnership using one red and one black Six for this purpose.
