"2016 Clue Suspects Now on Mobile"

Marmalade Game Studio has delighted fans of the classic murder-mystery game Clue, also known as Cluedo, with the release of the 2016 Suspects Pack for its digital version. If you're a fan of this timeless game, you're in for a treat as you can now step into the shoes of some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack introduces Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This set focuses solely on these beloved characters, allowing you the flexibility to include them in any scenario you desire, without being bound to a specific crime scene or case file. This freedom lets you select your nostalgic favorite and dive into the mystery, or even mix and match them with the newer 2023 cast for a unique gameplay experience.

The community's love for the 2016 characters has been evident, with many expressing a desire to see them return, especially after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to fan feedback with this exciting update.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is rolling out a new Retro Rules Set game mode. This mode, available at no extra cost, takes players back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic twist on gameplay. Key changes include tokens starting at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet traditionally taking the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.

In this mode, accusations must be made from within a room, and the Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, players cannot move through squares occupied by others, adding a strategic layer to the game.

To experience these new additions, head over to the Google Play Store and update your game.
