Amazon Slashes Prices on GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PCs

Author : Emery Apr 16,2025

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card hit the market in late February with a suggested retail price of $749.99, but snagging one at that price is a challenge. Like the rest of the Blackwell series, this GPU has seen widespread price hikes from both individual sellers and manufacturers, making it difficult to find one for less than $1,000.

However, there's a smart workaround to sidestep these inflated prices: opting for a prebuilt gaming PC. Currently, Amazon is selling CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 Ti gaming desktops starting at $2,069.99. This is a great deal, especially since the RTX 5070 Ti performs almost as well as the RTX 4080 Super. For comparison, the best deal on an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC is at HP for $2,299.99. Unless you're set on a particular brand, choosing one of these prebuilt options could be your best bet.

My top pick among these configurations is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme, powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. In our review, Jackie Thomas noted that "the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D excels in gaming performance, making it a standout choice compared to other recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. If you're pairing it with a high-end graphics card, the 9800X3D is the best way to maximize performance."

Among the Blackwell series GPUs released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti stands out as the best value for money. It matches the performance of the RTX 4080 Super and even outshines the RTX 5080, which is only 10%-15% faster but 33% more expensive. This GPU can handle high framerates in virtually all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing. For AI tasks, the RTX 5070 Ti might offer better value than the RTX 50870, as both come with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the top choice for a 4K graphics card for the average user, offering significantly better value than the RTX 5080 or 5090. In my testing, this GPU excelled at 4K, closely rivaling much pricier options, and that's before considering multi-frame generation, which will further enhance its ability to achieve extremely high framerates, though with some latency impact."

HP is offering its powerful HP Omen 45L gaming PC with a 14th-gen Intel Core i7-14700K CPU and GeForce RTX 4080 Super GPU for just $2,299.99 after a $700 instant discount. This is one of HP's most potent gaming PCs, capable of running any game at up to 4K resolution. It delivers performance nearly identical to the RTX 5070 Ti and is about 10% less powerful than the RTX 5080, with the same amount of VRAM, though it uses GDDR6 instead of GDDR7.
