When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?

The Sweet Discoveries event kicks off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and continues until April 29th at 8:00 p.m. The highlight of the event is the debut of Applin, a unique Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon from the Galar region.

To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. For Appletun, the requirements are 200 candies and 20 Sweet Apples. Applin's final evolution into Dipplin leads to Hydrapple. The Apples, crucial for these evolutions, will appear in the wild. Tapping on them might reward you with a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. Your chances of encountering these Apples increase around Mossy Lure Modules.

There's a heightened chance of encountering Shiny Delibird and Shiny Skwovet in the wild. Moreover, hatching 7 km Eggs during the event increases your odds of finding Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet.
