April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled
Sony has announced an exciting lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers in April 2025, featuring three diverse titles: RoboCop: Rogue City for PS5, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for both PS4 and PS5, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory for PS4. These games will be available to download starting April 1 and will remain accessible until the next update on May 5. The announcement was made via a detailed post on the PlayStation.Blog.
Which April 2025 PlayStation Plus game will you play first?
- RoboCop: Rogue City
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
- Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory
PlayStation Plus users will find something to suit various tastes in this month's selection. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, stands out as a major highlight. This first-person shooter immerses players in the role of Alex Murphy, better known as RoboCop, as he combats crime in a dystopian Detroit. The game, which received a 7/10 in our review at launch, was updated in January of the previous year with a much-requested New Game Plus mode, adding significant replay value.
For those craving a thrilling multiplayer experience, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an asymmetrical gameplay where players either fight to survive or embrace the role of the Slaughter Family, including the infamous Leatherface. Our review gave it a 6/10, noting it as a technically challenging but entertaining experience.
To balance out the intensity, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace. This turn-based RPG, released in 2018, expands the universe of digital monsters with over 320 Digimon to collect and explore, offering a fresh perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth storyline.
As these titles become available next week, PlayStation Plus subscribers should not forget to download the March 2025 titles—Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection—before they are no longer available after March 31. This strong lineup presents a great opportunity for both current subscribers and those considering joining the service.
