Astaweave Haven Rebrands as 'Zenless Zone Zero,' MiHoYo Announces
MiHoYo's upcoming project, initially known as Astaweave Haven, is getting a fresh look—and a new name! The game, previously hinted at as a potential departure from HoYoVerse's usual open-world gacha style, is now officially titled Petit Planet.
While details remain scarce, early speculation suggested a life-simulation or management game akin to Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. The name change reinforces this impression; "Petit Planet" evokes a charming, potentially more casual experience than HoYoVerse's typical gacha RPGs.
Release Date Uncertainty:
Development is ongoing, with no official launch date announced. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile releases in July. The name change to Petit Planet was registered with HoYoVerse on October 31st, and is now pending US and UK approval.
Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (consider the back-to-back launches of Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero), approval of the new name could quickly lead to further reveals and a potential launch announcement.
